With the accurate distillation of two worthy and precious white traditional Sicilian varietals, “Grillo” and “Inzolia”, Averna enriches the original set of grappa from this wonderful island.  From the two noblest red sicilian grapes ripening in the warm sun of Sicily, Nero d’Avola and Syrah, a well-structured distilled product has been obtained in which the highly intense aromas of blackberry, redcurrant and morello cherry marry with the delicate flower note of violet and the enveloping smells of vanilla and liquorice.  Grappa Averna of Grillo and Inzolia is refined and aromatic, perfumed with hints of ripen peach and citrus and a lavender’s summer floral hint. In terms of taste, it appears with a sweet and persistent flavour which evokes pleasant sensations of cinnamon and nutmeg. |
